Maison Ikkoku
Went to Maison Ikkoku with my partner last year, which is along Kandahar street, just opposite the Kampong Glam Istana. Took a shot of the lovely shophouse in which the cafe is located. The second storey also belonged to the cafe. There is a nice boutique at level 2.

The combination of the toasted english muffins, poached eggs and parma ham was really good. But what made this dish so special is the hollandaise sauce on the poached eggs. It is home-made and they've added something else that I have not tasted in other hollandaise. The benedicts were accompanied with veggies and two watermelon spheres (yup, they are not cherry tomatoes). Overall, I like the dish. But if I come back to Ikkoku, I will probably want to try something sweet--- their french toast with berries.
