Togi Korean Restaurant

My friend told me that her previous korean language teacher told her that there is a Korean food map and guide compiled by their agriculture ministry for Koreans who are residing in Singapore about the locations of authentic Korean restaurants. Togi Restaurant is one of the recommended places taken from the map and it is located along Mosque street in Chinatown.

The banchans were really tasty. I loved the anchovies the most. The stir-fried spicy marinated chicken was not overly-spicy, not overly-sweet: Huge thumbs up. The kimchi pancakes were too dry. As for the spicy chicken soup, the flavour of the soup is fantastic. However, the shreds of chicken in the soup were not marinated and mainly absorbed flavour from the soup. Overall the spicy chicken soup was good, but not the best that I had. Further improvements could be made by increasing the flavour of the chicken shreds. In general, I enjoyed the meal that I had at Togi. The price was acceptable as well. Each dish costs less than $20.
