If you are looking for affordable, delicious and authentic japanese food in Singapore, this is seriously a place you can't miss. Hidden within the retail shops in the upper levels of Far East Plaza, you bound to recognize the eatery from the long queues outside the shop. My friend and I were very lucky on that day because we were slightly earlier before the dinner peak hour. We managed to get our seats almost quite immediately because we were first in the queue.
Scallop Mentaiyaki
Salmon Crab Aburi Roll
Sirloin steak, medium rare (100g)
Salmon Prawn Aburi Roll
Tofu Cheesecake

There was really nothing to complain about. All the dish that we ordered tasted absolutely fantastic. I can't pick a favourite dish because everything just tasted as good. The sirloin steak had a texture that felt as though the beef melts in the mouth. My friend who don't take beef often said that she was very impressed by the dish and professed her new love for beef. The burnt mentaiko together with the scallop was an extremely good combination of flavour and texture. The aburi rolls: both the crab and prawn were oh my god sooooo yummy. There's burnt mentaiko on top of the half-cooked salmon sashimi and creamy avocado with crab/prawn within the sushi rolls. The tofu cheesecake was commendable as well. 3 layers of goodness (tofu, cheese and graham crust) all in one. The prices of all the dishes were extremely reasonable. We spend $24/person for everything. This is definitely in my favourite list of places for japanese sushi and I can foresee myself going back there again and again.
